National Window Cleaning Company was founded around 1918, but the Williams family’s story began in the late 1940s when Oakley Williams joined the company as a window cleaner. A dedicated family man, Oakley developed a deep passion for the craft. In the 1980s, his wife, Doris Williams, became the owner, and together they raised five children. In 1982, we became a Better Business Bureau®-accredited company and currently hold an A+ rating. Making customer satisfaction our top priority is the reason why we have such a long list of happy customers. Their sons, George and Lonnie, began cleaning windows at 16 and took over the business in 1990, continuing the family legacy. In 2019, we were selected for the Best of Cincinnati Award and are grateful for the difference we’ve been able to make in our community. Today, the company is run by George’s son, Ryan, a third-generation window cleaner who started at 15. Ryan served in the US Navy on the USS Nimitz as an Aircraft Firefighter and Rescue Man before returning to the family business. Recently, one of Ryan’s children began cleaning windows, making them the fourth generation of Williams to carry on the tradition.
